Dear Liam,
One year old. Already? How did that happen?! I know I say it all the time, but really...where did that time go?
You are amazing. A true joy. We are so blessed to have you, sweet surprise baby! :)
This has been the fastest year of my life. Thank goodness for photos and journals because there is no way I could remember it all!
Liam, you are such a little ham. You are loud and feisty. You scream when you want something, or when you're happy or when you're upset. Haha. You are just silly. And loud. Did I mention that? (Just like your mama, I know, I know.)

When we ask you how big you are you raise your arms up to the sky! It's so completely cute. Last week, you also started shaking your head no and you completely know how adorable you are when you do it too. You grin so big!

You love to dance and take baths. You love the faucet and to splash and hump the water and tub! hahahaha! You are a great eater and are bigger than your big brother was at this age.
You started walking yesterday!!! You took 4 steps all on your own and stand by yourself a LOT lately! It will only be a short time longer before you're chasing Grayson all around!
You chew on everything. You hate the carseat and like being outside.

Your favorite show right now is Super Why and you love music and when mama acts silly!
You adore your daddy. And big brother. It's awesome to see you three together. My boys.

You are a very social baby. You enjoy people, especially other kids. You're just now starting to get a bit feisty during church service. It may be time for the nursery soon.
You find great entertainment in pushing cars, trucks, blocks, basically anything around the house! It it so cute to see!

You have 8 teeth as of today (four on the top four on the bottom), wear size 5 dipes (big booty! ;)), 12 month shirts and pants and don't mind getting your teeth brushed.
You have finally just recently gotten into a better sleep schedule for naps and bedtime. You still wake one to two times at night, but Dr. Keating assures us that's normal. Though, after two years of babies, daddy and I sure do miss our sleep! When you wake, we just bring you to our room and let you sleep in the pack n play so you don't wake Grayson. Sharing a room is not ideal, let me tell you, but we make it work! Kind of.

You make a really cute growling noise. And make it a LOT.
Your favorite foods are peas, noodles, french fries, chicken nuggets and grapes. You dislike green beans and bananas.

You still have your stork bite in the middle of your forehead and I absolutely love it. It's shaped sort of like a heart and adds so much character to you sweet, expressive little face!
You weigh right around 21 pounds, Only 6 pounds lighter than big bro. Whoa.
You love to look out the window and think you're big stuff sitting in the front of a cart!
We love you and couldn't imagine life without you. I will never forget the day I found out you were on the way. Totally unplanned. Daddy and I were scared and overwhelmed, but never for a second did we doubt. We knew the Lord had big plans and we trusted in Him just as we do now. You are such an important part of this family, Liam! We all adore you, especially that big brother of yours! You guys have such an incredible bond already (all tackles, choke holds and slaps aside! ;)) and daddy and I love to see you together.

Happy first birthday, handsome boy! We love you soooo stinking much!! You are a gift and blessing to us!
Lots and lots of love,
Mama & Daddy
