23 days

23 days.

That's all we have left (max) until sweet Liam's arrival!

I simply can't even believe it.

This time has gone by SO fast. It's surreal.

I've made a list of to-do's before he arrives. My, how different this time is compared to when it was Grayson just one short year ago! (gulp. haha).

-Clean out our room (clothes to Goodwill, dust, sweep, especially corners)

-Move rocker from Grayson's room to our room

-Move most toys from living room to corner in Grayson's room

-Organize Liam and Grayson's clothes in dresser and closet

-Put diapers, wipes, baby goods, etc in basket for our room

-Make up a basket for some of Liam's onesies and pj's for a quick grab in the middle of the day/night

-Make freezer meals (for the most part. Made 8 in the last day)

-Clean out car

-Pack Grayson's overnight bag

-Pack my hospital bag-don't forget Liam's schtuff!

-Clean carpets

-PURGE more JUNK! this is always continuing! Haha.

-Clean off stairs

-Mow yard/take garbage out before leaving for hospital

-Grocery shop for pantry and quick-grab foods for us and Grayson

-Get transfers onto t-shirt and onesie for the boys

It feels sooo good to see so many things already crossed off! The planner in me is SO happy about it.

My feet/ankles and hips Not so much! ;)

Thankful as always for Nate's help...and even Grayson, because he is already such a good helper! ;)

Getting There

I'm pretty disappointed that I will now be 2 weeks behind on Project Life, but I'm out of ink and to be honest, just do not have the energy to plan it all out right now. :(

We have been so busy these past few days. I just can't seem to catch my breath (literally-thank you, Liam! haha).

I wanted to share some things we've bene up to lately.

First, after several requests to do it, I decided to start a wee, little "business" for mom-to-be's/baby gifts. I'm having a blast and am feeling awfully blessed with each order!

Grayson is proving to be quite the little helper these days. He decided to help daddy mow the lawn the other day. It was precious!

Grayson got to attend his first-ever Easter egg hunt this past Saturday!  He did awesome and had so much fun!

After the egg hunt Saturday, we spent the whole rest of the day as a family (afterall, we only have a handful of them left to spend as "3!") and went shopping for some necessities and then grabbed a sweet treat on our way home.

We couldn't head home before venturing to the park for some fun on the swings and slides! Oh, and dirt/sand! Gotta enjoy that, too!

We had a terrific Easter, too! Grayson had lots of fun pulling each little thing from his basket. This ball for his pool this summer had him puzzled, though! haha

After church we spent some time with family, enjoying the special day and a very good meal. After lunch, we all ventured outside for some fun! Grayson loved running with Craemer!

Mom and Phil had an egg hunt for Grayson and Roman. They did awesome!

The boys took turns riding in the "new" car mamaw and papaw found at a flea market over the weekend!

I realize more and more every day just how blessed I am. Amazing, funny, smart, supportive, helpful hubby...handsome, smart, sweet, friendly, silly little boy...and strong, healthy baby on the way. 

After a busy, but amazing weekend, I barely made it back home before realizing I could barely walk because my feet and ankles were so swollen! I had a headache all afternoon (plus, I'm SUPER emotional lately) and just didn't feel well.

A text to my mom later, she was concerned that maybe my blood pressure was a bit high. And issue I've been thankful to NEVER have dealt with before.

She came over and took my blood pressure as I laid on the couch with my feet propped up. Thankfully, it was just fine. Turns out, I've just been overdoing it a bit. Okay, a lot.

I don't really stop these days. And I've been feeling it! My body is SO ready for this baby to come! 4 more weeks. I can do it! I need every single minute I can get.

Still have SO much to do. I'll get there. :)

Grayson's 1st Birthday Party!

Welp, it happened. The first week in months of doing Project Life that I didn't even get the week's spread started, let alone completed.

It was bound to happen sometime, I suppose.

Just had a super busy week and I'm almost out of ink. Looks like I'll have to double up for this coming week!

We were busy celebrating our sweet Grayson and that to me is more important than anything. What a wonderful first birthday he had!

His party was a "If you give a mouse a cookie" themed and we had lots of fun with family and friends Saturday.

I baked up some chocolate chip cookies and sugar cookies. The cupcakes were made by my mom's friend who's starting a new business and they were deeelish! Grayson enjoyed chocolate!

Oh, and some little favors for the kiddos that were there!
