These were before the ceremony..seeing each other for the first time! It was such a GREAT time just for us! We were uneasy about doing it this way at first, being kind of 'traditional' and all..but i am SO glad we did it now! thankful.
I hope everyone's Thanksgiving was great! Ours was pretty decent. Having it in Findlay was a little different, but I got to hold
, "play" , and love on with a 2 month old baby most of the day, so no complaints from me! ;)
I have been feeling kind of crummy the last day & a half. sick to my stomach. headaches. kind of annoying. i think it's a GOOD mix between not enough rest, needing a new prescription for my eyes & my new "medication." ;) ugh. i'm excited to go to bed at 8:30 tonight! at least that's the goal!
today, i am thankful for:
-church. my Pastor. my church family. my Bible. and the freedom to serve God.
-Nate. and our cuddle time early in the morning before i head to work.
-my friends Heather & David..that they just may have found a church that they love & feel at home in. it just so happens to be mine. [no matter where they choose to go, tho i am very excited they are doing it together & getting God in their lives again.]
-our Christmas tree. i know this sounds silly, but i am in LOVE with our tree b/c it's our first tree together. it's so cute. [i'll post photos later! ;)]
-kind co-workers. a new co-worker, in fact. who leave me little surprises on my desk some mornings. inspires me to be more selfless. today it was a cuuute wooden snowman [i love snowmen!] hanging on my cubie wall above my PC. and a cute snowman pen holder. makes me smile big.
-shrimp. haha. ok. now i know this one IS funny, but it's true! i'm grateful for shrimp. i've always loved it, but i think it's officially my favorite food. love it! tonight, I made shrimp scampi for dinner with lobster cakes..those were premade of course! ;)
-cute kids. babies. toddlers. big kids. love 'em all. especially ones that share stories and give the best hugs! i came in contact with a few last week who i seriously could just take home with me!
-our CocoMotion. a gift from the great friends mentioned above, Heather & David. That things rocks! Add some milk, some hot chocolate mix, push a button & let the thing go to town! In less than 10 minutes it's made me some yumm-o hot cocoa & i'm in love! :)
-aslan. for simply cracking. me. up. ! he jumps so high & meows like crazy just cuz his food isn't overflowing, and goodness forbid if he can see the bottom of his dish! the meowing does not stop!!
-my comfy bed. seriously. love me some sleep. love our bed. even if i am in it alone 75% of my night. it's still a nice resting place.
-..and that we FINALLY got our prof essional wedding photos!!! ;)
ps-did the page last week after reading a bulletin from church. it's now one of my favorites.

2 day recap!
Aslan says hello! I snapped this photo Friday night while I was on the phone with Nate. He's hard to get good photos of, because he's so active! He's been whining all day..I have no clue what he wants! His food & water are full. He's been played with ALL day. He's lounged several times. He even got to chill by the bedroom window all while laying our ed this afternoon...he's just not satisfied!
Darn cat.
LOL.
Had the crop yesterday/last night. I had such a good time! I love the scrap store & I always love seeing people create in real life. The shopping's not bad either! ;) I picked up some fun papers, embellishments & then got some Autumn Leaves punctuation stamps for my 1 item at 25% off...too bad I totally walked out of the store [that was closed=LOCKED!] WITHOUT paying for them!!!!! ack! I called the store as soon as I got home & let them know what an idiot I had been! They couldn't take my CC over the phone, so thankfully, my dear friend, Erin picked up the tab & I'll be sending her a check! GOOD GRIEF! i'm definitely blonde! LOL...so embarrassing!
Nate & I went to church this morning and I have to say, I am sooo happy to be "back" in church..and by that I mean, on a regular schedule! We would go one Sunday, and then miss 1,2,3..i hated it! Now that we're muchhh closer to the church & all settled in our new place, we're able to attend every Sunday..i LOVE that! we both need it.
We started going to a new Sunday School class that is now required to take in order to become members of the church. While I am already a member, Nate is not & is anxious to become. We decided to do it together, as I can always learn new things about my religion and church!
It felt SO good sitting in & taking in so much already! Communicating with a small group of "new" people [i'm a small group-kind of gal!] is refreshing. i actually miss taking notes! Nate & I both agreed we're really going to love this class for the next 12 weeks..and the best part is, he will become a member after all is said & done!! yeyy! :)
Church service was also so good. I love my church...love my Pastor! he is so great..so funny..and SMART! he knows so much. and he's young...only 35! love that! his messages are always so deep & true & always relate to day-to-day. love that, too. Our friends, Heather & David are looking for a new church, and are planning to come visit next Sunday..I hope it's just as good as today was! I'm anxious to see what they think.
After church, mom & Phil came over for that dinner I mentioned below-beef & noodles, & mashed potatoes. I must say, it turned out GREAT! my mom helped a little in the kitchen, which was super appreciated, but I got the jist of it all & they all loved it! She made one of my all-time fave desserts, banana pudding [but, this isn't just your everyday 'nana pudding..this stuff is thick, and scrumptious..made with Chessman cookies, by Pepperidge Farms..yeah..it's GOOD!]...we had a great time hanging out, watching the Browns/Steelers game and chatting...good stuff! Megan & her boyfriend came over right before Nate headed off to work, they had dinner too..and hung out until even after mom & Phil left! love that!
It's always a good thing when you show someone a page you did about them & they really respond to it. in this case, it was Megan. 
I showed her this LO and she just looked at it..and read it. and looked some more. and i could see it in her eyes that she got it. she understood my concern and most importantly, my love for her. she commented on the edit of the photo & said she loved the page. made me feel good. real good.
I scrapped more tonight [which makes 5 pages in 3 days!! i haven't done that many in a LONGGG time!] & talked to the hubby while he was on break. love that guy! he cracks me up. he makes me feel better about myself. he knows me inside & out. i can't wait for babies, you guys! LOL oh, yes i can!! but, still! :]
The Amazing Race is on in just a bit & i have some deeeelicious 'nana pudding calling name. that, and a whiney-butt cat! LOL i best get going!

is my sister, Megan!! 17 & full of beauty & promise. [she got all the looks!] i love her & i love my 8x10 senior photo of her that she just dropped off tonight!
wowza, eh?! this was taken down at the tracks by my parents house..oh. and there's more, but i'll save them for a later post!
thanks mom, for Coldstone tonight. the pumpkin icecream was scrumptious.

Things in the new place are wonderful. I just love it there & can't wait to decorate for Christmas!
Nate's birthday is coming up December 4th and I thought I knew what I was getting him, but ahhh this is hard! I need suggestions! With Christmas being so close, I don't really want to spend a TON...but he's definitely deserving of something great. So, what the heck should I get the man??!! J any suggestions are greatly welcomed thru email of course, since the little weasel checks this from time to time!
Oh, and I scrapped!! In my new room..and I loved it! even tho it came together UBER slow...I still scrapped & it felt good!
Have a crop next weekend at my favorite scrap store!! I always spend way too much money there. Oops. ;)
Work is busy. I cannot get caught up. Especially when I train people all the time. Grrr. I'm not a fan of training!
I definitely need more sleep.
Oh, and Aslan LOVES the new place too! You should see him..he's crazy! Flips & runs all around! he's so cute!
I want a puppy tho. BAD.

Mom & Megan are coming over in a little while to drop off Megan's senior pictures!!! I can't wait!! I can't believe she's graduating this year! Makes me feel old! LOL

I found it in the ever-so-amazing Pottery Barn catalogue..and cannot wait to duplicate it for the living room soon! KOHL'S...lookout, here I come!!! I love me some Pottery Barn, but I hate their prices! Ha. Nate & I picked up a few great things there on our honeymoon..some placemats for the bar, candles, a condiment/deli tray, etc. I love their designs. I also LOVE Williams Sonoma. [hint, husband! Hahaha]
Ohhhh and I've decided to start collecting these:

Love them. Their style. Simplicity. Their meaning & grace.
I don't really collect anything yet [aside from scrap supplies!] so, now that I'm a crazy, married lady, I thought now would be a good time! I've put a couple on my Christmas wish list this year..including the entire nativity set!!
Anywhooo..it's time to cle an up a bit before my girls get here!

finally!
yeyy! here they are! courtesy of the mother in law! i cannot wait to get the professionals back tho!! but, at least this will give a good sampling! so, the girls looked beautiful. the guys were handsome. the cake [2 yellow layers and 1 chocolate layer with buttercream frosting & real roses on top!] was delicious. i hearted my hair & makeup..BIG time! my flowers were exactly like i wanted..so much so, I got teary -eyed the first time i saw them. the ring bearer & flowergirl were so well behaved & fun. my groom looked so freakin GOOD!!! our parents got along great & really enjoyed themselves. the silly pic of my dress up..well, that's funny, lets just hope the prof. shot comes out better! *lol* and that cutie pic of my hubby & his mom is just an added bonus cuz i think it's one of my favorites! :) my day was as close to perfect as itt could be!! thank goodness tomorrow is wednesday! make this week go fast! hope everyone is great!
