wow. what a weekend! busy, busy!  nate came over friday night & gotta love our fave chinese restaurant,shopping at kohl's & pier one [and not buying a stinkin thing! yey.] & also running into one of the 4 friends you just lost last week AT kohl's :( UGH!

passed katie & her fiance, josh on the way into kohl's..i got a "hey", but just kept walking & didn't say a word. i have nothing to say to a liar.

got up early saturday morning & had breakfast with mom & grandma [tho i didn't anything. haha]...such a great time...the 3 of us haven't been together like that in a LONG time! then, i headed up to meet with Nate.  we met up with some other friends to head to the Cleveland Auto Show, but not before taking them to a place they've never been before: Chipotle! they loved it & Nate & i always love it, so it was good fun!

picked up another guy to go along for the auto show..which was a grand time!  i love cars & i love looking at them, but i got kind bored in the middle & nate made me mad cuz in all his excitement, he kept running off! *lol*  my legs hurt bad from all the walking, but i suppose i'll live ;)

went to a great restaurant for dinner, called the Boneyard. they had a kick butt buffalo chicken wrap & fries! mmmm!  great atmosphere too.  Nate & i came back to Canton & chilled the rest of the night..watched HGTV home shows!! love those! before i zonked out...and kept falling asleep walking to my car! oops.

went to ebd & got up early sunday to go to church. church is a wonderful thing. love it! :)  came home & had an awesome lunch my mom made: seafood stuffed shells & the best breadsticks ever!  then, i talked nate into taking me to my fave scrapbook store, that he had never been to before!  i tried to post photos, but my aol/computer is having issues lately & i can't sighn on, so i'm using my sister's & it's slowwww & won't let me upload pics, so just imagine my new stuff! haha.  got tons of paper & schtuff! we shopped around there for a bit, went to B&BW & claire's...we're also in the hunt for a Ben Roethlisberger black jersey.  He went to Nate's HS & nate's a big fan & i promised him one & now we can't find one! ha. imagine that! :)  went to the mall & made a nice purchase at American Eagle: flips flops for each of us & a new awesome bag for me!!! i *heart* AE!  also got nate a new earring for his cartilage piercing, which was long overdue...we then stopped at Archiver's, where u found MORE goods!!! oops. hehe. & then he took em to Barnes & Noble cuz i've never been there! i LOVED the place!  bought 2 new scrapbooking IDEA BOOKS NATE!!!! [nate insists that i "just bought 2 'magazines' for $15 each!!" even tho, all of us know that these are not just magazines, they're freakin pieces of GENIUS books!!! ;) *lol*

came home...went to Taco Bell for dinner & had a DQ strawberry milkshake & eh had a blizzard..& we chilled the rest of the night! also got to see Drew & cheryl win Dancing with the Stars! haha.

so totally not my style of scrapping, but it felt so good to just get this done & be 'messy' about it. took me all of 15 minutes to do ...i just wanted to remember how hurt i was [and am.]

but, this is it...i am MOVING ON.

and i'm caught up on all emails right now..i think! :) haha.  i thank you guys all soo much again for supporting Nate & I. it's amazing to hear fr om so many incredible people who I don't even personally "know" but that seriously doesn't even matter to me, cuz we're all human beings who feel & experience & CARE.  thanks for caring & understanding & for just being so  amazing! :)

i'm off to clean up my scrap space..and maybe make it all messy again! ;)

so sorry about the posting earlier. didn't mean to scare anyone! for some reason typepad wouldn't post my whole entry..weird. good thing i saved it! anyways, here's the deal:

growing up i have always heard about friends growing apart, changing,
becoming new people & losing touch. i honestly never thought i would be one
of those people. i always believed i had the best friends imaginable. that
we'd always be together. always be friends.
however, the last year has proved different. i have learned that no matter
how hard i try to be friends with someone, it sometimes is just not meant to
be.  i have struggled for quite sometime to "like" some of my so-called
friends. i always believed that things would work out, get better...
but i was wrong.
last night one seriously one of the worst times i have ever experienced.

i let them go.

i will spare all of the messy details, but can say that i am now thinking of
who will be my new 7th bridesmaid because

tricia is out of the wedding.

i should have known this was possible. her & i have struggled an awful lot
since last spring, but we both hoped we could just work through it. but, it
has finally come to our realization we are now more different than alike,
which causes a lot of tension.
i love her & always will. we have shared so much together and i will always
hold a special for tricia in my heart, but i can't be good friends with
someone who, and i quote;  "can't stand" my fiance.
i also learned that some of my friends who i have known since elementary
school have stabbed me in the back & hard.  now that i think about those 3
other girls it all makes sense. it still doesn't help the hurt though.
but, i will get over it. i will be stronger & better and move on over time.
tricia & i have agreed to be civil & still talk. just not like normal. we're
too separated now.
it's so strange to me that in a matter of a day i have lost FOUR friends.
wow.
it's for the better, i guess. God is showing me that not everything is
perfect and not everything will last. change is good.
i just have to keep in mind that God has provided me with those friendships
for a reason. to help me learn & grow. and i also know He has a lot in store
for me now, too.
i am engaged to a wonderful guy who loves me unconditionally. and though
some may not agree with us being together, let alone engaged..Nate has been
brought into my life for a very important reason. he believes in me like no
one else and will be by my side forever.  i would have never of had that
with those girls. it's impossible.
i believe it's extremely important to have a good group of girlfriends
though, help balance it all out & spend "girl time" with!  i have since
found those in other girls who have NEVER made me feel unworthy and i will
be so happy to have them by my side on my wedding day!
anyways...i have the exact person i will ask to be the 7th BM in mind & will
be calling her tonight and really hope she says yes cuz i love her to death!
we shall see.

ps. i quit the LSS last night. :/ glad it's over.

i do love blogging. and i do love seeing what so many friends are up to...i hate being behind on things, so i'll be working on checking blogs & commenting more! anywhooo...here's the latest.

the #1 thing right now:

i'm on a mission for a NEW wedding dress!  the one i ordered came in yesterday. and i don't like it! :( i feel so bad, cuz mom was so excited & i was so excited. and now, it's just not what i want! [can't list details here cuz my ever sooo wonderful fiance checks this all too often!! *wink*]...i also feel bad, because now mom has to pay shipping to send the thing back! ack! but, like i told her, it's my wedding dress i won't settle.

so, now i'm on the hunt for something else. we're going in march to the bridal shop where my girls aregetting their dresses for a private consultation. should be grand. especially if i find one there, cuz then my girls get 15% off their dresses! i hope i do! :)

the weekend was good. for the most part.  went to Findlay. Nate's parents are all moved back into their house...everything is like brand new & it's seriously gorgeous!! i LOVE the kitchen! his mom & cousin decorated it like no other! it's really perfect!  Nate took me to a little coffee shop in Findlay across from the college & i loved it! hot chocolate was the bobm diggity! stopped by Hobby Lobby saturday before heading out, picked up some more flowers for my mom to finish the bouquets & i also picked up some yummy new scrap schtuff!! [heidi swapp chipboard alphas,doodlebug stickers that i'm obsessed with, a new 8X8 K&CO. turquoise album that will match our future living room!!! and tons of patterned paper!] 

went to the olive garden for Mindy's 22nd shin dig. good time for the most part! mindy is so wonderful. i can't even say it enough how great of a person she is! went to the pet store to show nate our future puppy...a schnocker!! yeah. crazy name, but that's their breed! a cocker spaniel/schnauzer mix & boy are they cute! too bad they were all sold & gone when we stopped by. oh well. we went to canton & stopped at starbucks. got another hot chocolate. YUM. no words to describe how much i *heart* their HC! :) also, picked up the cutest new mug from there! love it! went back to his dorm & chilled for a little bit...booked our hotel for NYC this July!!!! sooo exciting! we're gonna stay for 3 nights rather than just 2. i figured it was better, cuz it gave us an extra day to enjoy the city!i cannot wait! :)  we then went out to a country line dancing bar for our friend, katie's 21st birthday!  katie is another awesome chick! she is so stinkin fun! and her roommate, becky is a total sweetheart too..one of THE nicest people i have ever met! it's so nice getting to know new people better! i had a few too smirnoff's & don't exactly remember the last half of the night! oops. Nate was so wonderful tho. always is.

I spent the night with the girls in their dorm...went to bed at 3 a.m. nate called & woke me up at 8. i had such a pounding headache. we headed back to my house to get ready for church.

i was sleepy all day, but we managed!  church was grand. NASCAR started again!!! wooot! stinkin jimmie johnson won under a caution which to me is NEVER a win & i'd say it even if it were my #1 dale jr! haha. we got more chinese!! goodness. we can't get enough of chinese! *lol*

haven't talked much wedding. the days arefast approaching when it'll be time to get back into the swing of things!  have lots to do yet.  the first 2 things on the list is to find a dress & call our pastor to schedule a time to meet with him & have our counseling.

dude. we get married in less than 8 months! the craziness!

i am also about to quit job#2.

and i'm re-joining weight watchers next tuesday night [would go tonight, but i have to work. blah.]. it's time to get my butt in gear! i hate how i look. i think that's a major part in why i'm so moody lately. i hate how i feel. how i look. how i've let myself go. not fun. not fun at all.

anywhoo...i should prolly get back to it. lunch is over in 1 minute!

i'm a bore!

i have just realized something.

i am a complete BORE! i'm boring! my blogs aren't exciting anymore [were they ever?!]...this kinda stinks.

i don't have much time or take much time to update like i should...i think i might go back into previous posts, print the important ones & cancel my account. :(

i think my blog days are about over...which might be ok, cuz i seem to be out of it a ton these days anyways! *lol*

maybe this will just mean more time to catch up on everyone else's!

oh so UNmotivated!

my 3 day weekend starts in less than 3 hours & i can't wait! i am pretty anxious to hop on out of here...especially since i don't have to work at the LSS like scheduled! woot!

completely unmotivated to do much of anything right now!

i feel like i am majorly dropping off the blog stuff! that & on two peas. there's so many people & layouts, and just not enough time! i don't even recognize hardly anyof the posters anymore...madness!

anywhoo...

he came to my house & we went to dinner at Longhorn. YUM. i soooo love dinner dates with him. sometimes we don't even have to say a word to each other & it's just when i catch him smiling at me, that gives me butterflies! thinking to myself, "this is my future husband.." HUSBAND!! gosh! me; from a silly, lonely,spastic girl to soon-to-be-wife! insane! and i LOVE it!!!

came home & chilled out the rest of the night...watched some olympics & then cuddled.

it was PERFECT!

have a doctor's appointment tomorrow & then, nate & i are heading to Findlay for the night..then back home for our friend, Mindy's birthday dinner at the Olive Garden! [i almost kept the buttercream/cookie Yankee candle i bought her for myself! ha.], then off for another birthday party out somewhere! good times await,i hope! :)

Sunday is definitely gonna be a chill day. hoping to go to church..haven't been in some time & relax the rest of the day.

i have to admit, i am LOVING not really thinking about our wedding right now. having this time "off" is so nice.

we'll have to get hopping again starting in march...lots of phone calls to make, etc. Plus i wanna get started on those invites!

we had some "issues" with the bridal party AGAIN at the beginning of this week & needless to say i was not a happy camper with one of the guys. he knows who he is. what a hassle. but, it *should* be all good now...it better be. i will forgive & forget.

sooo needless to say, it was a pleasant weekend & so far a pleasant Monday too!*knockonwood* [besides NOT quitting the LSS just yet, but instead picking up a few MORE hours! yikes. they had another girl quit for a FT job, so i didn't just want to leave them high & dry. but, i won't be there for very much longer.]

the weekend was pretty filled with lots of cuddling, tv [the olympics mostly],shopping,& lounging. PERFECTION! i love weekend like this!

lets just hope this week goes by super fast so that my 3 day weekend can start...full of nate,findlay,& birthdays!!

just not feelin' it.

so...i'm just not diggin' working at the scrapbook store. [insert pout here!]. i dunno what it is [or should i say ISN'T?]...but it's just not where i want to be.

the hours are odd. the pay isn't good. i am a bit tired.

i came to the realization last friday night, i'd rather SCRAP than WORK scrap! make sense?

i work again saturday...giving it one last shot & if things aren't enjoyable, i have a lot to let them know.

but, my question is...how do i quit a job?!

never done it  after only working twice before. i feel horrible. especially cuz the owners have wanted me to for 3 years. but, eh. it's just not where i want to be. :(
