It's funny how much your life changes once kiddos come along. I once remember blogging often, scrapping often, being able to have a phone conversation without interruption. ;)
It's a change that I am thankful for. Truly.
Our life, like everyone else's is pretty busy these days. Happy Summer. The weather here in Ohio has been fantastic (today is darn near perfect if you ask me-high 70's, breezy..perfect!) and we've been trying to take advantage of it for sure!
Last week, we filled the baby pool and took the boys out.
Both boys love the water! This was Liam's first time in the pool. His baby chub cracks me up!
And Grayson got to play with the big ball sprinkler he got with his birthday money from grandma and grandpa Duenke! He thought it was super cool and loved taking big drinks from each side! Ha!
Thanks to my sweet hubby (and an awesome sale!) I got to treat myself to the only body wash that doesn't leave my skin dry and broken out-Bath and Body Works! That was a fun day when the box arrived! I am set for quite a while now! :)
Our evenings are a bit hectic with Nate at work and it being just me and the boys. Often times Grayson just konks out on the floor while I am busy feeding Liam. It never fails they get hungry/sleep/cranky at the same time!
Saturday, Nate and I got to go on an impromptu date! Okay, so it involved taking his car to get the clutch fixed, then running errands, but we did have a delish lunch at Red Robin and got dessert at Swenson's!
I fall more in love with this guy every, single day. Lucky girl right here!
Besides the water, Grayson's next favorite thing has been his sandbox! He wants to play in it every chance he gets! We gotta get this kid to the beach, stat! ;)
Last night it was so beautiful here. Another near perfect evening. It had been such a busy weekend I was too tired to cook, so Nate picked up chinese and we had a picnic in the backyard!
It was delish! Of course, Grayson was too busy playing in the sandbox to even care about dinner, but he did manage to eat some broccoli and some noodles before running off to play again!
Chubby baby feet+mama's chubby feet. :)
And then, we attempted to take a family photo...uhh...no makeup on the mama, tired daddy, upset bro #1 (because we snatched him for a photo-how dare we!) and brother #2 spitting up as we snapped! ha.
Real life right here and I cherish it.
Earlier today Nate brought every, single plastic tote we have with the boys' clothes in them downstairs for us to sort through and organize. It was a bit overwhelming at first, but I am so happy to have it done now! We already have a big pile for a garage sale this fall. Nice!
After Nate went to work, both boys napped for just a bit. Then it was back to chaos as usual-feed, change, snack, laugh, Bubble Guppies, and play!
Look at these little hands playing with his wooden toy. I melt. :) He is loving this little "workbench" from Melissa & Doug Toys! He loves pushing each piece in and then taking them out. It has a hammer, but he would rather use his hands.
After Liam went down for a nap I decided to take Grayson out to play for a bit. He was so excited about his new shoes!
He didn't want to wait on me so he decided to just go down the stairs all by himself! Where did my baby go? :(
He climbed and played and played and played...
He liked crawling under, but just for a second. :)
Then, on our way inside, we found a moth! Grayson was super fascinated with it. Ooohing and ahhing as he tried to touch it!
It is SO much fun watching him explore and learn new things literally every, single day! We have such a blast as a family of four!
